DESIGN PROBLEM

The biggest problems associated with this project were poor space planning and limited storage space. While my duty was to create a more functional space throughout the home, the Dye family requested that my emphasis be put into the kitchen.



DESIGN SOLUTION​

One way in which I created more storage space in the kitchen was by tearing out the wall that divided the kitchen and the dining area and extending the kitchen out with counter space to be used for storage and as a buffet. I also, specified for tall upper cabinets so that just about every inch of useful space was utilized.
